Welcome to Wells Gray Resort — a 400-acre forested property on the edge of Wells Gray Provincial Park in British Columbia. Originally a family-run campground, golf course, and RV resort, this land is now home to a bold experiment: building the next generation of regenerative communities rooted in nature, culture, and technology.
Over the past four years, we’ve lived on this land full-time, raising our family, restoring infrastructure, and gradually transforming it into a seasonal village prototype — with coworking spaces, saunas, disc golf, permaculture gardens, community events, and digital nomads staying for months at a time. It’s not just a place to camp. It’s a living lab for the future of village life.
We’ve hosted workstays, filmed a Game B video series here, developed our own AI-powered VillageOS tools, and started laying the foundation for a global network of seasonal Smart Villages — with Wells Gray as the flagship site. Today, you can visit us as a camper, a guest, a creator, or even a founding member of something bigger.

About the Village Project
Wells Gray Resort isn’t just a campground — it’s the prototype site for a broader Smart Village movement. Over the next two years, we’ll be building out:
100+ long-term pads for tiny homes, RVs, and park models
Wellness facilities: saunas, hot tubs, cold plunges
Coworking domes, maker spaces, and family-friendly infrastructure
Cultural and educational programming through the Future Thinkers Foundation
We’re also developing tools like VillageOS, an AI-supported system for managing land-based communities, and launching a broader network through Portal.Place, which will bring our seasonal village model to RV parks and retreat centers across North America.
